Talking To A FSBO

I was talking to a FSBO seller the other day, trying to find out if he would pay a buyers commission if I brought a buyer.  I never did get a definitive answer.  After hanging up I started thinking about his reason for going FSBO, he wanted to keep more of the sale price at closing.  I have been advised by many of my past managers to tell FSBO’s that they could keep more of their money by paying a commission to a professional real estate agent then trying it alone.  I have never been able to convince them of this, so I did a little research.  This article, http://www.boston.com/realestate/sponsored/re_numbers/2013/10/is_a_discount_listing_commission_really_a_bargain.html helped clear that question up for me.  Check it out.  I found it interesting.
