Monday October 3rd:

50-50 Raffle Drawing:  11am at the LBI Historical Museum in Beach Haven.  Call 609-492-0700 for more information.

2.  Brain Games: 
1pm at the Island Brach of the Ocean County Library in Surf City.  Also on the 17th.  Call 609-494-2480 for more information.

Tuesday October 4th:

1.  Job Seekers' Support Group:  6:30-7:30 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Brant Beach.  Group provides career counseling, resume assistance, interviewing techniques and more.

2.  Adult Writers Group Meets: 
1-3pm at the Island Branch of the Ocean County Library in Surf City.  Call 609-494-2480 for more information.

3.  Q & A with Creators, An Evening with Lucille Ball, "Thank You for Asking":  Following 2pm matinee at Surflight Theatre in Beach Haven.  Bring your questions for Lucie Arnaz and Suzanne La Rusch.  Call 609-492-9477 for more information and tickets.

Wednesday October 5th:

1. Intro to Stand-Up Paddleboarding:  9-10am at Sunset Park in Harvey Cedars.  Fees vary, call 609-494-1241 to register. 

Thursday October 6th:

Bead Happy Hour: 4-6pm at Just Bead It in North Beach Haven.  Come and learn new beading techniques and make cool jewelry!  Call 609-492-2323 for more information.

2.  Music & Movement:  10:30am at the Island Branch of the Ocean County Library in Surf City.  For ages 2-6, call 609-494-2480 to register.

Friday October 7th:

Plein Air Show:  10am-5pm at Wildflowers Too in Barnegat Light.  Call 609-361-1101 for more information. 

Saturday October 8th:


1.  Christmas Bazaar:  9am-1pm at Zion Lutheran Church in Barnegat Light.  Holiday Items, collectibles, jewelry and more.  Call 609-494-2980 for more information.

2.  Holiday Bazaar & Foodfest:  8am-2:30pm at Terrace 1st United Methodist Church on the Beach Haven Terrace.  Handmade crafts, country baked goods, decorations, mums, and more.  Rain or shine, call
609-492-9843 for more information.

3.  Roast Beef Dinner: 
Takeout from 2-8pm, dining room service from 4-8pm at High Point Firehouse in Harvey Cedars.  Bring your own beverages, ice and glasses are provided.  Adults $14, kids under 12 years $7. 

4.  Spaghetti Dinner and Car Raffle:
  7pm at St. Francis Center in Brant Beach.  Scojo's caters the event.  Adults $15, kids $8.  Call 609-494-8813 for more information.

5.  Texas Hold'em Tournament:
  7-11pm at the Ship Bottom Firehouse.  Event benefits the Kiwanis Club of LBI, doors open at 6.  Call 609-709-0443 for more information.

Sunday October 9th:

1.  LBI Commemorative 18 mile Run:
  Race begins at 10:30am in Holgate.  Applications are available at St. Francis Center in Brant Beach.  Luncheon and awards ceremony follows.

2.  Halloween Jack-o-Lanterns & Pumpkins Galore: 
10am-2pm at the LBI Foundation of the Arts & Sciences in Loveladies.  Fees vary, call 609-494-1241 for more information.

3.  Potluck Brunch: 
12-2pm at the LBI Foundation of the Arts & Sciences in Loveladies.  Event benefits Doctors without Borders and the Foundation.  Children older than 9 are welcome, donation $10 per person plus a dish to share.  Reserve by calling 609-494-1241 or 609-361-0993.
