Rentals Strong Again
Looks like 2017 rental activity on LBI is going to be a repeat of 2016 which was a banner year. Lots of repeat renters coming back for the same properties and the newcomer market is very strong so far.Competition for the better properties continues to be sharp and I expect that will be the case going forward. Lots of disappointment last year for those who waited too long to look for something, so better off starting the process now rather than waiting until after the holidays. Sales are continuing at a very nice pace also and prices are inching up too. If the overall economic situation continues to brighten as many are forecasting that it will, 2017 could shape up to be a very interesting year overall. Interest rates are likely to increase but most accounts at a very modest pace, probably starting in December,but they will remain very attractive and affordable for some time to come.
