Unfortunately the old lakeside pavilion was torn down in 1966. On October 22, 2011 durning the annual Fall Harvest Festival a new pavilion was offically dedicated.

The new pavilion was built at virtually no expense to the township ot its taxpayers. Instead several businesses and organizations donated material or labor to the project.

If the township had to pay for someone to build the pavilion and pay the prevailing wage etc, the cost could be well over $100,000.

It's a place for residents to relax, picnic, swim, fish and enjoy yhe scenic views of the lake's place in the township history.

Now a bit of the history has returned...
