Listing Your Home During The Holiday Season
With Thanksgiving and Christmas around the corner many people think it’s best to wait until after the holidays to list their homes or they want to temporarily take their homes off the market. Their reasoning is “who is going to be buying a house in the middle of the holiday season”, right? In reality it’s just the opposite.
There are several reasons why not to wait until after the holidays:
Many buyers are relocating due to job/career changes
Buyer’s who are looking are more motivated and want to buy
Homes decorated for the holiday tend to be warm and inviting, drawing buyers in.
The home sale inventory tends to be less during the holidays, which makes it beneficial for the seller.
After the holidays more homes become available for sale which means more competition for the seller.
With nicer weather and spring approaching the new construction market takes off which will make your home less appealing.
In summary, holidays are a great time to take advantage of selling your home. Don’t wait until 2018 to list your home. The “Jingle Ball” is in your court, call me today to discuss how I can help you sell your home, 609-618-7683……..Jim Mazzerina "Building Quality Relationships One Client at a Time"
