Construction Loans to Help Build New Homes or Renovate Damaged Homes

In the wake of Hurricane Sandy there has been a demand for financing options to assist in building new construction or rebuilding and renovating an existing damaged home. There are several excellent financing options available two of which are the "One Closing Construction Loan" and the "PermanentsLoan". in short, these programs allow the borrower to purchase a property, either with or without an existing dwelling, and secure a construction loan to build their new home (or rebuild as the case may be). The advantage of this program is there is only one set of closing costs (although some additional recording fees may apply) thus saving a lot of money! Of course this is only one option of many and depending on the financial picture of the borrower, there may be other options available. Therefore, it is best to contact a lender for specific details.
