Thinking of selling your home on your own?  Great, If your up to it and have the time go ahead. The first problem in listing your property online is deciding where to post it. More importantly how to get the most pictures to get the most interest. So often, I see pictures posted on home for sale posts that are so poor I wonder if they are selling the furniture rather than the home. If you opt to take staging photos yourself,  here are tips for making the images the best they can be.

Arrange the furniture to open and focus on the space. Wide angle lense are popular but using your iphone can work too. Adjust the light on your phone before shooting and uploading. Indirect sunlight is much better than shooting on a sunny afternoon or at night.  Unless you want your house to look old and yellow, do not use CFL lightbulbs. Especially if you have dark walls.

If you don't have the time and want to use a professional photographer there are a few that specialize in Real Estate I can direct you to. I'm here to help.
