Elevation Grant For Sandy Damaged Homes In Stafford

GREAT News...


Stafford Township has been notified that they are eligible for a Hazard Mitigation Grant for elevation of Sandy damaged properties. With the maximum amount of the award to the township being $1million, it is anticipated that 10-15 homes effected by Sandy will be elevated. The grant is a 75% to 25% match which means the state will reimburse 75% of the cost once work is completed and documentation is submitted. NO MONIES WILL BE FRONTED BY THE MUNICIPALITY OR STATE. 

The application process for the town and individual homeowners is extensive. The deadline for the application is May 15, 2017. All applications must be submitted electronically.
