Hope Sheds Light is a non-profit organization committed to helping the local community understand the disease of addiction.  They are committed to creating awareness, providing resources and instilling hope to support a healthier community.  We've read weekly how heroin and prescription drugs addiction have become prevalent in our shore communities. This organization provides education and support to community members to let them know they are not alone.

Hope Sheds Light invites you to join their first ever Celebration of Hope Walk on Saturday, September 13th at 8 AM on the beach at Hiering Avenue in Seaside Heights.
All those who have been affected by addition or would like to show their support are asked to join in the walk to find hope despite the chaos brought on by the disease. This is a chance to meet others who have been working toward a solution and can support those still struggling with the affects of addiction.
Vendors, speakers, giveaways and information will be available onsite. The Jersey Shore community is invited.
For more information or to register for the walk visit http://www.hopeshedslight.org/
