Canvas photo or matted and framed

Recently I was at a local fish pond store and noticed a photographer was selling photos he/she had matted and framed. I thought about making a few of my own, but was going to put them on canvas.

Pictures and art are supposed to be different, thats what makes them valuable. So taking a really great photo, and putting it on canvas makes it special. After reading about how easy it is to have your photos put to canvas, I decided to try it.

Although quite different than what I'm used to, the canvas photo looks great! I just took a high resolution photo, uploaded it to a website, greatbigcanvas.com and in just a week or so had my photo. It's awesome and unique. I could see this picture being sold at any store for hundreds of dollars. It was fun and easy and its my own.

Photography can be very enjoyable. You don't have to be a certain age, nor do you have to have them printed like I have done. Any camera will do. Set your camera to the "best or highest quality" setting, and start snapping away. With digital cameras you can take hundreds of photos and just enjoy them for years from your home computer, or pick the ones you like and delete the rest, its that easy. Enjoying the outdoors and all it has to offer a photographer is great fun.
