COOL HOME TECHNOLOGY WITH ICE AND SNOW MELTERS
Dated: January 2 2017
It’s the New Year, and there’s still plenty of winter ahead, and well, plenty of winters ahead too! I wanted to share some cool technology that’s become a lot more affordable the past few years which will make your property safer and easier to maintain during the cold months.
Most people have heard or radiant heat that can be installed under hardwood or tile to keep your floors – and yes, your toes, warm. That same technology is available for outside use to keep one’s gutters, sidewalks, and even driveways snow and ice free. It’s almost like they shovel themselves, but more importantly, gutter joints won’t freeze and burst, cracks in walks and driveways won’t expand with freezing and thawing, and those shoveling chores can be gone forever. More importantly, a radiant heated sidewalk and driveway minimizes the chances of falls – and that can be priceless!
Another benefit is that one doesn’t have to use salt on the driveway and walkways which breaks down mortar over time and damages rugs and wood floors when tracked inside.
www.warmlyyours.com has some excellent information and a free estimator tool to calculate product and installation costs.
