Boating Safety Certificate Class this Friday June 15th at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin. Come Learn the In’s and Out’s of the Waterways this Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm. Cost for the class is $50. Any questions, please call 609-597-4876

“Question: Do I need a boat safety certificate? 
 
Answer: Yes, if you are operating a personal watercraft (Jet Ski, Wave Runner, etc.), or a power vessel on the waters of the State of New Jersey you are required to possess a New Jersey boat safety certificate.

Exemptions:
A boat safety certificate is not required for non-powered vessels.”
