Betania III, the community formed by Maria Esperanza, meets on the last Sunday of each month at 3:00pm in St. Mary of the Pines in Manahawkin to attend Mass and to pray the Divine Chaplet and the Rosary. The next Mass will be Sunday June 26. All are welcome St. Mary’s hosts a group that meets every Thursday morning 10:00am in St. Mary of the Pines to say the Rosary for the canonization of Maria Esperanza and to pray for a very special intention. All are welcome. (If there is a funeral Mass scheduled, rosary will be prayed in the side meeting room.) Maria Esperanza created the Betania Foundation in 1979, a lay movement destined to evangelize, educate youth, develop the well-being of society, foster family life and promote social justice. The ultimate purpose of the Foundation is to consolidate the basis of a new world by “loving one another”, with the motto: “Shielded in faith to work for a better tomorrow”. The Betania Foundation continues to carry out the apostolate of Maria Esperanza. For more information about the foundation or mass, please call Carole Liming at 703-2137.
