Beach Haven Sea Shell Annual Striped Bass Tournament

Well it's that time of year again!  For all you anglers out there young and old, this weekend marks the Sea Shell Resort and Beach Club of Beach Haven's 19th Annual Striped Bass Derby.  The all-tackle, all boat fishing event begins this Friday, October 30th at 9 pm and runs through final weigh-in from 10 am to noon Sunday, November 1. The registration fee is $150 per boat for 2 anglers plus an additional $50 per additional angler.  Proceeds of the charitable event will this year benefit David's Dream and Believe Cancer Foundation and the Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine.  The kick-off party begins at 7 pm Friday at the Shell followed by an 8 pm captains meeting with The Impulsives providing entertainment.  There is a cocktail party at 6-8 pm Saturday and the final Fish Fry at noon on Sunday with music by The Pickles.  The awards ceremony will take place at 2 pm.
