Finally it seems as "SPRING" has finally arrived here in southern Ocean County.  Sections of lower Barnegat Bay have been producing striped bass according to Captain Steve Pural of Reel Fantasea Sportfishing.  The population seems abundant with sizes presently in the 12 to 26 inch range.  These are a thrill to catch on light spinning tackle.  As the water continues to warm each day so will the size of Bass..................The arrival of blue fish will soon follow.........so get out on a charter, fish a dock, rent a boat or get out in your kayak..........this is truly a great time to get out and shake off those winter doldrums, enjoy the sunshine, the salt air and reel in some striped bass or bluefish.
