Avengers Endgame An LBI Review
Dated: May 1 2019
A great way to spend a rainy day down on Long Beach Island is to go see a movie. Or after a sunny day spent on the beach an evening movie works too!
Speaking of movies, I saw Avengers Endgame this past Friday of its opening weekend at a sold out IMAX showing. I knew it would be an exciting evening long before the movie came on. I arrived an hour and a half early only to see that there were already about 30 people lined up for it!
Not that this comes as any surprise, but it was off the charts amazing. 5 out of 5 stars! The culmination of 11 years and 21 prior films, Endgame is a delight from start to finish. It has a 3 hour run time but it moves. The directors masterfully blend this enormous cast of super heroes with fantastically delivered lines and incredible moments that will make you laugh, cry and want to take on the big bad guy Thanos himself. Avengers Endgame is truly an epic movie worth seeing not only once but multiple times.
My favorite scene from the film was when the newly resurrected heroes are all lined up behind Captain America who, wielding Thor’s hammer Mjolnir, lets out an “Avengers Assemble” that made the whole theater cheer!
What were your favorite scenes from the movie? Who are your favorite characters? Let me know.
