The month of April 2012 was active in the LBI real estate market! For the course of the month there were:

Single Family Homes
40 Sold
Average Listing Price: $820,343
Average Days on Market: 148
Average Listing/Sales Price Ratio: 92.4%

Condos
3 Sold
Average Listing Price: $431,667
Average Days on Market: 73
Average Listing/Sales Price Ratio: 94.7%

Multi Family Homes
6 Sold
Average Listing Price: $744.667
Average Days on Market: 116
Average Listing/Sales Price Ratio: 91.4%

All totaled, almost 50 properties sold in the month of April! This is an average of almost 2 closings a day which is a lot of activity for the LBI real estate market! The average price remained almost unchanged for a single family home but they did sell for a higher percentage in April than March. As the summer season approaches, we continue to see an increase in activity as buyers work to finish their transactions for summer 2012!
