A Taste Of Long Beach Island This Saturday February 15th
Each session, presented in an easy-to-understand format, is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the LBIF’s main building, at 120 Long Beach Blvd. in Loveladies.“Did you know Viking Village in Barnegat Light is one of the East Coast’s most productive commercial fishing seaports?” asked Amy Carreño, LBIF public programs coordinator. This Saturday, third-generation fisherman Karter Larsen “will tell many entertaining tales, (and) you will learn how your favorite fish is harvested in the Atlantic Ocean.”Smith, who teaches at the Ocean County Vocational Technical School, “will teach you how to prepare the fresh seafood you catch, with hands-on cooking demonstrations and delicious samples to enjoy,” Carreño added.
