A Holiday Legacy To Mother

 Even though the holidays can be hectic and crazy, it’s  also a time for family to come together. Lots of running around and tons of preparing is all worth it when gathered around the table with those you love.

  Who doesn't recall the fond memories of helping Mom bake the desserts, or dressing the Turkey. I can smell the of  the aroma of the baking Turkey at the mere mention of Thanksgiving. And there was the sibling competition when making a wish over the wishbone.  I still replay the stories I heard as a little girl while sitting around the dining table.  There was just lot's of laughter, political discussion, and, most of all, love.
  It wasn't until I had host the Holiday festivities that I realized the amount of planning and work that my mother had to invest in order to for us to be able to recall those memories today.  I try to do the best I can to repeat those Holiday meals that my mother made so memorable for us.   I do it for my children pass on these same traditions to their children, but most of all I do it in honor off my mother.
