I’m always looking for good places to eat. But not always the high end places. So here’s a local establishment that we love. It’s the Horizon Diner on Bay Ave in Manahawkin. I love going there for lunch or dinner. They are a traditional diner. What I mean by that is they always have a long list of specials and if you find something from the specials list they also have a huge menu to pick from. All the selections are at very reasonable prices and most servings are way more then you can possibly eat. Except for the “Hungry Realtor” of course! Besides their lunch and dinner specials you can always have breakfast no matter what time it is. The only thing different about this diner is its not open 24 hrs like most traditional diners. But when you get the bill for two dinners and its only 25 bucks, you won’t care about the closing times. Diners like this are synonymous with NJ and this place has the look and feel of an old time NJ diner. And you’ll even get to see my photo on the placemat.        Give it a try – you’ll love it!
