Many more area families could use an "Angel" this Christmas to insure that they receive a holiday meal and gifts for the children.   Barnegat-Waretown Chamber of Commerce is looking to brighten the holidays through caring area people with the Angel Tree project.    There is a slight change with the outreach program's model due to this years COVID 19 concerns.  Trees that were usually adorned by gift requests cards as ornaments is changing to drop-off boxes at area businesses for gift card contributions. These businesses include "Delights Coffee and Bake Shop", "Garden Market", and "Marchioni's Pizza and Pasta" .  Gift cards of any amount and cards for retail and/or food establishments are welcomed and appreciated.  According to Chamber president Bill Clanton Jr. the need will be greater than any other year.  All children deserve to have something under the tree.  Your gift of a donation can makes this happen.  Barnegat Food Pantry is accepting toys while the Municipal Alliance in Waretown is also collecting toys.  These organizations will arrange delivery of these items to the many area families that need our help and support.  Check out the Barnegat-Waretown Chamber of Commerce facebook page for more information.....
