When getting ready to sell your home, there are so many things to think about. Here is a checklist of items to help you prepare your home for buyers to see.
Walk through your house as though you are a buyer.
Clean out and have a yard sale to get rid of anything you don’t need.
Use Facebook Yard Sale sites to help clear out anything you don’t need.
Cleaning (You want your home to look spotless for your potential buyers)
Do a thorough cleaning of your home.
Repair cracks or holes in wall.
Remove any excess furniture.
Steam clean carpets
Curb Appeal (Your curb appeal is a potential buyers first impression of your home)
Power wash siding
Sweep porch and walkway
Trim bushes and shrubs
Plant flowers in garden
Turn on lights
Open blinds to let in natural light
And most simple tip:
Purchase a new welcome mat.
