WBNJ For Old Time Rock N Roll

If your as old as I am and you miss the tunes of the 50's and 60's, tune into WBNJ if you're anywhere in the Long Beach Island vicinity.   My non-scientific study tells me that more than ninety per cent of the air time is music.  Every once in a while you'll hear an old favorite from the 70's, but most of it is stuff like Sinatra, Como, the Beatles, Pat Boone, Chuck Berry, The Shirelles, the Ronettes, the Supremes and even Gogi Grant.  I think you get the picture.

You can find WBNJ at 91.9 on your FM dial.

With a little checking I found out that WBNJ is a non-profit that specializes in helping local, Southern Ocean County philanthropic groups.  Last year Bill Clanton, the brains behind the station, organized a concert to help with the Sandy relief.  WBNJ has been a big supporter of the five local Rotary Clubs serving the area as well as the Boy Scouts of America, Interfaith Health and Support Services of Southern Ocean County, and most recently the local food banks.
So tune in to WBNJ, 91.9 on your FM dial.  You'll be glad you did.
