To Buy or not to Buy

To buy or not to buy ...that is the question. Whether it is nobler to wait until you are sure that prices have hit an absolute bottom and perhaps miss out on the opportunity to take advantage of a wonderful inventory, mortgage rates that your grandchildren will not see, and in many cases a chance to negotiate with motivated sellers. Clearly these are uncertain times, and the reluctance make a decision to buy a second home is quite understandable. Things will improve albeit slowly but the opportunity to improve your quality of life by buying a vacation home or investment property on Long Beach Island may never be as pronounced as it is today. Personally, I have many buyers who are on the sidelines waiting for that magic moment, and they are starting to make more noise now than they have in recent memory. When I worked on Wall Street, people would often ask me when the right time to make an investment was, and I always gave the same answer..."yesterday". Anyway I talked to Hamlet just the other day and he said it"s time to act... so what are you waiting for???
