The Unofficial LBI Summer Kickoff Is Underway

Well for you LBI lovers, be aware that the posted speed limits are being reduced and the traffic lights will soon be changing from the peaceful blinking yellow to the regular red, yellow & green.  Traffic has already been picking up and with the warmer temps and sunny days, we’ll be back to chaos in no time.

The beach (and dune) replenishment project is underway in Beach Haven and Holgate. It is currently scheduled to go through late June. To follow the plans for these and other areas on LBI, go to:

The bridge construction project is moving along as well. Finishing touches are being made to the new bridge while work continues on the median in anticipation of all traffic using the new bridge. The old bridge will then be redone.

The water is warming, there’s still places to stay, so plan on coming down, if you haven’t already done so. Hope to see you soon.
