The BEST Eggnog Youve Ever Had

We have been making this eggnog in our house for as long as I can remember.  If you have never had the home-made version, try this; you will never go back!

1 dozen eggs (mixed in a blender)

1 quart of whole milk

1 can of evaporated milk

½ cup of vanilla

2 cups of sugar (or slightly less depending on your sweet tooth)

6-8 dashes of cinnamon

6-8 dashes of nutmeg

½ Pint of Rum

½ Pint of Bourbon

½ cup of Brandy

Cook eggs & whole milk together on low to medium heat just until it coats a spoon. (This only takes 4-5 minutes; too long results in scrambled eggs)

Add all remaining ingredients except alcohol and continue mixing.

When well mixed, add alcohol and continue mixing.

This is just as good tasting without the alcohol so feel free to omit or adjust as per your preference

.
