The 3rd Annual Community Gathering to give thanks will be held at the Tuckerton Seaport right outside of Long Beach Island on November 28 from noon to 4pm.  This free feast is open to all members of the local communities, regardless of need.  It is intended to support those families still not back in their homes after the storm 3 years ago.  The event is sponsored by the Seaport, the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce, the Jetty Rock Foundation, WJRZ 100.1 radio station and Ocean Tents.  The dining will be outdoors under a heated tent.  A local bell choir may entertain, the annual Christmas tree lighting on Lake Pohatcong will take place and the Seaport's giving tree will be unveiled.  And I wouldn't be surprised if Santa showed up!
