The American Humane Association is encouraging people to adopt a shelter dog during the month of October. An estimated 3.7 million animal are euthanized in shelters every year. Here are some great reasons to adopt a dog today. A dog can be part of your family in so many ways: - Exercise buddy - Best friend - Constant companion - Friendly face to greet after a hard day at work - Stress reliever - And so much more Please visit your local shelter during the month of October and give a canine a warm home and friendly atmosphere.
