As I was signing on to the computer to do some work a headline on caught my eye. "The 25 Least Popular Dog Breeds". This made me chuckle a little then I had to find out, which one is the last one picked. To see the whole article, which includes the listing criteria and photos, go to or Here is a portion of the article and the list.

"Dogs are man’s best friend. They serve as the ultimate companion, who is always happy to see you after a long day and offers endless amounts of unconditional love. Dogs are furry creatures who expect very little and give so much in return.

An estimated 70 million to 80 million dogs in the United States are someone’s precious pet. That means approximately 37 to 47 percent of all households count a dog as a member of the family, according to the ASPCA.

Having a dog can improve your health, as they’ve been known to boost the moods of their owners and lower stress levels. Owning a dog can also make you more active, as you’ll need to walk your four-legged friend multiple times per day.

If you’re thinking about getting a dog, it’s important to conduct research first to select the breed that best suits you. Some breeds are just more popular than others, regardless of any individual dog's temperament. PetBreeds created a list of the 25 least popular dogs based on American Kennel Club data (which keeps tabs on 178 different breeds). Also, we've noted the reasons why these dogs aren't as popular with the general public, based on certain living situation and lifestyle".
