Well it’s now down to 4 teams in the NFL. The New England
Patriots travel to Denver to play
the Broncos in the early game on Jan. 19th. While the San
Francisco 49er’s head north to Seattle
to face the Seahawks in the late game. The cream has risen to the top this
year. Both games have history behind them and should be enjoyable to watch.
Quite a few games this year came down to last possession wins. Before I go out
on a limb with predictions, let me remind you I was the guy who said the
Chicago Blackhawks would win the Stanley Cup in 6 games last year. Yes, it was
before the series started. That was then, this is now. The difficult part of
trying to predict who will win a game is your head usually battles with your
heart. Your emotions, mostly dislikes, interfere with common sense and logic.
Take last year’s Superbowl, as a native of Pittsburgh,
how could I choose between the Baltimore Ravens (arch enemies) and previously
mentioned San Fran 49er’s, who could match the Superbowl win record of the
Steelers? What a dilemma. The same thing could be shaping up this year. So, out
on the limb I go.
