Long Beach Twp Establishes Memorial Bench Program

Long Beach Twp is currently accepting applications for its new Memorial Bench Program, which the township calls an opportunity for families or individuals to pay tribute to a friend or loved one while also enhancing the community.
For $1000 a 2.5" x 8" plaque will be attached to to the back of a bench. Initially all the benches will be located at Bayview Park In Brant Beach and later at various recreational public facilities like tennis courts, handicap platforms, etc.
Donors can either choose "In Honor Of" or "In Memory Of". The next two lines will hold 28 characters. Being there are a limited number of benches, the program will run on a first come first serve basis.
