The stats are in comparing sales of single family homes on LBI from 2015 to 2016.

2015 - 321 Non-waterfront homes sold for an average price of $808,988

They were on the market for an average of 132 days and sold for 95% of their asking price

2016 - 380 Non-waterfront homes sold for an average price of $834,221

They were on the market for an average of 153 days and also sold for 95% of their asking price

Waterfront single family homes include ocean front, bay front and lagoon front

2015 - 102 sales with an average price of $1,737,407

They were on the market for an average of 186 days and sold for 92% of their asking price

2016 - 95 sales with an average price of $1,595,469

They were on the market for an average of 192 days and sold for 93% of their asking price.

While the waterfront market was slightly down from 2015 to 2016, the non-waterfront market definitely rose.  With prices and interest rates climbing, don't wait to realize your dream of owning a home on Long Beach Island.  To begin your search, click here.
