In the wake of Hurricane Sandy and disputes with the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce over recovery efforts, a group of local LBI business owners and the mayor of Long Beach Township championed the formation of a new chamber of commerce better suited to promotion of the LBI area. Enclosed is a copy of their first newsletter!

Mission Statement
The LBI Chamber of Commerce exists for the purpose 
of stimulating and promoting tourism and commerce 
on Long Beach Island through the deployment of 
strategic marketing endeavors and other networking 
avenues. 
Vision Statement
Accomplish of our mission via the following four efforts: targeted marketing in print, digital, TV, radio, 
and other formats deemed effective; the raising of 
funds to accomplish task #1 through events and 
other endeavors deemed effective; support of private 
charitable and civic initiates designed to enhance life 
on LBI; provide a platform for members to exchange 
ideas and forge stronger relationships.

Nardi’s First Call for the new LBI  Chamber of Commerce, 
Last Call for the Summer 
2013 Season. 
To be held at Nardi's, Oct. 
23rd, 6pm to 9pm. $20 at 
the door for all the pasta 
and pizza you can eat and 
Happy Hour drink prices. 
An evening of networking 
with other business owners and sharing your ideas 
for the new LBI Chamber 
of Commerce.
Join us as we close out 
the 2013 Season and get 
ready for Summer 2014.
