Hop Sauce 2016 is set for June 4 in Beach Haven, from 11am to 7pm, rain or shine with over 20 craft beers, great music, amazing food and fiery hot sauces to try! The focus is to bring a new demographic to LBI by breeding culture, and bolstering the local economy during a gorgeous but traditionally slow time of year. The idea of the gathering is to pair local fare with regional hot sauce, and wash it down with a sampling of twenty delicious craft beers. This event should be fun for the whole family and a great way to kick off the summer. There will be familiar local restaurants showing off their best dishes, many different craft beers, plenty of awesome music to enjoy, and lots of fun social activities. Wondering why anyone would want to burn their mouths all day? Hot sauce is about flavor, not just heat. The vendors understand delicious food combinations with a little heat. They’ll walk you through it and help you find the right combination, even for people who aren’t “chili heads.” A portion of the proceeds from Hop Sauce benefit the Jetty Rock Foundation, a non-profit arm of the locally based lifestyle brand Jetty, dedicated to improving our community through a variety of initiatives. Go to  http://www.hopsaucefest.com to find out more info. Hope to see you there!
