Views: 4586

2 cups canned chickpeas, drained

Juice of one lemon

2 tbsp tahini paste

1 tbsp chopped garlic


¼ cup of olive oil

Dash of kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepper

1 cup kalamata olive pitted

½ cup black olive pitted 


In a food processor, combine first 4 ingredients and process until smooth.  With machine running, add kalamata olives, black olives, and olive oil...add salt & pepper to taste.  Process until smooth.  You may add more olive oil to suite your consistency preference. 

Serve with fresh pita slices and/or veggies.   Enjoy!
