Are you a Political Pawn

The definition for pawn in this question is:

A person or an entity used to further the purposes of another.

Now that we’ve gotten through the conventions, we have 60 days to decide who will be the president for the next four years. Are you tired of hearing the canned responses by both the candidates and party representatives? Does it remind you of a juke box? For those of you too young to know, it was a machine that you placed your money in and pressed buttons to select your choice of song. We have a situation in the country where, because people are so close minded to their party that 42 states have been determined as Red & Blue already. That leaves eight states as swing states. Even in these most are so close that the election will be decided by a handful of independent voters. That means that if you live in one of the 42 states, you will not be visited by a candidate. They will be spending their time where it counts. So, for those of you who are staunch Democrats or Republicans, I ask, “Do you think you are a Political Pawn”? Take the next 60 days to step back a little. Listen to a different song on the juke box. Maybe we could get all 50 states to really matter.
